Speedy Greyhounds race past field at Eastern States

The Pleasantville High School boys 1,600-meter relay team cruised to victory Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Eastern States Championships held at the New York City Armory.

Alan Laws Jr., Kenneth Davis, Alex Best and Duke Mack posted a time of 3 minutes, 18.90 seconds, topping Newburgh (3:19.96).

Laws also took second in the 800 (1:53.51) and Best followed in sixth place (1:57.63).

Mack came in seventh in the 400 (49.46).
