Champion powers Pilgrim Academy

Liz Champion scored a game-high 25 points on Saturday, March 3 to lead the Pilgrim Academy varsity girls basketball team to a 41-23 victory over Granite (Md.) in the third-place game of the Mid-East Regional Christian Schols Tournament in Glen Burnie, Md.

Teammate Faith Beckley added eight points for the Lady Pilgrims.
