The Absegami High School varsity baseball team dropped their second straight decision and lost to Gloucester Catholic, 11-6, on Thursday, April 5.
The Braves fought back and trimmed the lead to 5-3 going into the bottom half of the third. However, Gloucester Catholic scored a total of five runs in the third and fourth inning to essentially put the game away.
The Brave's Mike Bates went 2 for 3 with two runs and an RBI in a losing effort.
